Abstract

【課題】雰囲気ガスの入れ替えが造形に要する時間に影響を与えることがないものとする。 【解決手段】チャンバー5内のステージ上に形成された粉末層10の所定箇所に光ビームLを照射して照射位置の粉末を焼結する光ビーム照射手段3と、ステージ上及び既に焼結された焼結層上に粉末層を供給する粉末供給手段2と、チャンバー内に配設されて焼結層の形成の繰り返しの合間に焼結層の積層物である造形物の外面の除去加工を行う加工手段4と、チャンバー内を不活性雰囲気とする給排手段6とを備える。給排手段6は加工手段4による除去加工中にチャンバー内の雰囲気ガスの入れ換えを行うものである。造形に要する時間中に当初から含まれている加工手段による除去加工中に雰囲気ガスの入れ替えを行う。 【選択図】図1
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for manufacturing an article with a three-dimensional shape which does not affect the time required for replacement of atmosphere gas for shaping. SOLUTION: The apparatus is equipped with a light beam irradiation means 3 of irradiating the prescribed point of a powder layer 10 formed on a stage in a chamber 5 to sinter the powder of an irradiated position, a powder supply means 3 of supplying the powder layer onto the stage and onto the sintered layers which are already sintered, a processing means 4 which is placed in the chamber and performs processing of the outside of the shaped article, i.e. the laminate of the sintered layers during the repetition of formation of the sintered layers, and a feed and discharge means 6 of maintaining an inert atmosphere within the chamber. The feed and discharge means 6 performs the replacement of the atmosphere gas within the chamber during the removal processing by the processing means 4 and performs the replacement of the atmosphere gas during the time required for shaping.
