Tilt cab suspension system

Systeme de suspension pour une cabine basculante

Abstract

A tilt cab suspension system (16, 18) including a shock absorber (16) and an air spring sub-assembly (18) which suspension system (16, 18) is particularly adapted for use in a tilt cab arrangement (12, 14, 18, 20) wherein the tilt cab suspension system is located between the truck frame (10) and the cab (12). The shock absorber (16) and air spring sub-assembly (18) provide the capability of remotely adjusting the amount of damping on the down stroke of a damper piston (28).
