Abstract

Implantable valve for use in blood vessels, particularly veins, more particularly venous confluences comprising a first supporting element and a second operative element; said first supporting element can be in the form of a bent body or of a cut sheet; and said operative element can be joined to the first one, by known means, e.g., glueing, soldering, sewing, embedding, embodying, etc., or be integral with said first element. In the former case, the operative element can be made from a number of suitable materials, such as plastics, biological materials and of the same material as the first element; in the latter case such operative element is of the same material as the first element. A catheter-based tool for remotely removing/rescuing the eventually misplaced/mislodged valve, comprising a stiff operative probe-guide, thermally pre-shaped starting from a thermoreactive alloy wire, able to hook up the valve and to withdraw it from the body.
Cette valvule implantable est utile dans des vaisseaux sanguins, notamment des veines, et plus particulièrement des confluences veineuses, et elle comprend un premier élément de support ainsi qu'un second élément fonctionnel. Le premier élément peut revêtir la forme d'un corps courbé ou d'une feuille coupée, et l'élément fonctionnel peut être assemblé au premier élément à l'aide de techniques connues, comme par exemple par collage, soudage, couture, encastrement, incorporation, etc., ou bien il peut être monobloc avec le premier élément. Dans le premier cas, l'élément fonctionnel peut être réalisé à partir d'un certain nombre de matériaux appropriés, comme du plastique, des matières biologiques, ou à partir du même matériel que le premier élément; dans le second cas, l'élément opérationnel est du même matériau que le premier. Un dispositif doté d'un cathéter, destiné à enlever/sauver la valvule éventuellement mal placée/mal logée, comprend une sonde guide rigide et fonctionnelle, préformée à chaud à partir d'un fil d'alliage réagissant à la chaleur, capable de crocheter la valvule et de la retirer du corps.
